Ron Clark is an English writer and freelance photographer, born in Northumberland. His earlier years took him between England and Australia, and an enduring fascination with people has remained at the centre of both his writing and photography.

He is particularly interested in the small details that make people individual: personality, memory, relationships, chance encounters and the stories that often sit just beneath the surface.

His first published work, Fragments, is a deeply personal true story born from tragedy. It explores family, love, absence, memory and the passage of time, piecing together a story that moves between England and Australia while imagining one possible account of an experience that can never be completely known.
